Charlotte Crosby reveals next stage of her Sunderland mansion renovation with swimming pool plans

Charlotte Crosby is aiming to 'spice up' by the first of her two mansions on the outskirts of Sunderland by transforming its swimming pool room.

At the height of her Geordie Shore fame, Charlotte had the huge home built near Houghton-le-Spring, with interest in it reaching fever pitch amongst her millions of followers on Instagram.

Charlotte ended up putting the property up for rent when she moved down to Bolton to live with now ex Josh Ritchie.

But, since her return to home turf last year, she has set about turning the house into her dream home.

Large scale renovations so far have included the kitchen, guest bedroom, master bedroom, sliding doors and a bar that Charlotte had installed in time for her and current boyfriend Liam Beaumont to enjoy at Christmas.

And now, the 31-year-old has given fans an insight into what she's got planned next.

Taking to Instagram, she told them: "Today's an exciting day, because, as you know, there are still some rooms in the house that I wanna do up."

Homing in on the space that houses her swimming pool, the former Celebrity Big Brother winner, continued: "Now the swimming pool room is the biggest, most blandest room going.

"Back when I had the house it was like all amazing, this was talking like six years ago. It didn't matter that was so plain 'cos people weren't that into their interiors, but now the whole world has changed."

Excited at what's to come for the room, she added: "The ideas we've got for it...wow!"

Charlotte then turned the camera round now give fans a glimpse of what the swimming pool room looks like now, with it looking pretty drab and uninspiring, before revealing she started looking at paint colours to transform its walls to match the tiles in the room.
