Charlotte Crosby reveals godparents for daughter Alba in special announcement

Charlotte Crosby has revealed who will be her first child's godparents as the tot turns two months old.

The former Geordie Shore star, 32, and her beau Jake Ankers picked a pal to take the honour, with Charlotte making the announcement in a "Godparent alert" on social media.

The reality TV star posted in the stories of her Instagram account to share the sweet news with her 8.3million followers.

And the revelation showed that she had picked The Style founder Adam Frisby for the honour. As well as Adam, the duo have asked his fiance Jamie Corbett to take on the duty too, with both sharing their excitement at the request.

Taking to his own account to make the announcement official, a buzzing Adam shared a snap of himself, Jamie and Charlotte all with beaming smiles. Charlotte was holding little Alba in the pic as Adam wrote: "We got asked a very special question tonight… to be little Alba’s godparents!

"Our hearts are so full and we can’t wait to be the best god parents to such a beautiful little girl and make the best memories together."

Fans flocked to the comments section to share their delight at the news, with daddy Jake also getting amongst it, saying: ""I can’t wait to see her grow up with you guys."

Charlotte also took the time to reply, writing: "Officially family now. We may aswell all move in together."

Sharing the news on his Story also, Adam gushed over the "special bond" he always feels with the youngster before opening up on how much Alba means to his best pal.

""She's so very loved," he wrote. "I can't wait to make so many special memories together and also get in my practice for parenthood (hopefully one day)."

Charlotte and Jake welcomed baby Alba Jean on October 15 and have shared regular updates on social media since.

The Sunderland-native described her newborn as the "biggest shining light" during the dark days which followed her beloved nana Jean's passing last month.

She recently wrote on her Instagram: ""Felt a little upset this morning with a wave of sadness about my nana. I guess it comes in waves and that pain won’t ever go away. But EVERYTIME I look at my beautiful little Alba Jean and I say her name I’m reminded of my amazing nana."

She continued: "This little girl has been the biggest shining light in this time for me and my family. On my saddest days she makes me smile and that’s just too special not to share with you all….The little lady who has been our strength through all of this wants to say hiya.

"My little Alba Jean Ankers my whole world and more. Love you so much this last 7 weeks have been the best of my life my girl."
