The Geordie Shore veteran has named her daughter Alba Jean Ankers.

New Mum Charlotte, 32, welcomed her daughter into the world on October 14. She shares the bundle of joy with her boyfriend Jake Ankers.

And, after taking some time to settle into life as a new mum, the star shared an update on how she's doing as she said the tot had given her a "new meaning to life".

"Mammy and Daddy are so so so lucky to call you our little girl you are loved so much more then you will ever know". [sic]

Charlotte and Jake were inundated with messages of congratulations in the comments.

The TV beauty later said in an Instagram story video how she and Jake were "smiling from ear to ear" after receiving a flurry of sweet messages from followers after the baby name reveal.

Speaking in a clip, which shows her in the passenger seat of a car, Charlotte said: "Guys, ahh. I wanna scream but I can't because of my stitches – well i don't have stitches in anymore but because I feel like I'll burst myself open.

"But I am so excited. Me and Jake are literally smiling from ear to ear about everyone's comments about her name. Like how beautiful is her name?!

"I've been wanting to shout that from the mountain tops little Albergini. Aww, so gorgeous.

"So it's all happening now, I'm feeling a lot better. She is slowly making her way out to the public. I can't wait for you all to see her."

Charlotte gave birth to her daughter earlier in October, with her excited dad announcing the happy news on Twitter.

He wrote: "So, officially a grand father! Little girl, all is well. Excited for the new chapter in our little family".

Charlotte, who's mum was unable to see her granddaughter while undergoing cancer treatment, announced she was pregnant in April this year.

She shared a sweet video on Instagram alongside partner Jake Ankers and wrote: "A moment I wasn’t sure would ever be mine Is here, it’s mine (and Jakes) and i couldn’t be happier to be sharing it with you all……Im having a baby." [sic]

In the lead up to giving birth, Charlotte teased the name she had chosen for her daughter.

Charlotte admitted she had to change her desired baby name after realising there was a rather crude meaning behind it.

Speaking on her podcast, the star revealed: "There was one name that we had, but we didn't end up going for it in the end.

"Don't judge, but we wanted to call her, Harla. I thought it was quite individual, but then I researched the name 'Harlot' and I realised that it meant prostitute."

A harlot is an archaic word for a prostitute or sexually promiscuous woman.

However, the star revealed she was much happier with her new choice as she said: "But the new name is way better. It's so cute, it's absolutely gorgeous, and I love it."
