Charlotte Crosby insists she hasn't broken lockdown rules as she reunites with parents

Charlotte Crosby 's pals insist she hasn't broken the lockdown rules despite allegations she ignored government guidelines.

The former Geordie Shore star was accused of breaking the rules by moving in with her boyfriend, and reportedly broke them again when she headed back to her parents' home to celebrate her 30th birthday.

But a source close to Charlotte hit back at the allegations, telling Mirror Online: "Charlotte has been really careful and acted within the parameters of the rules surrounding lockdown at all times."

It comes after The Sun reported that Charlotte broke the Government's strict rules to battle the coronavirus pandemic by moving in with her new boyfriend Liam Beaumont.

Sources told the publication that Charlotte began the lockdown living with her parents in Sunderland before moving in with her boyfriend, and that she'd flouted the rules once more by going back to her parents' house.

But her representative also insists she's done nothing wrong.

A spokesperson for the star advised that Charlotte has acted strictly within the parameters of the rules surrounding lockdown.

Charlotte turned 30 on Saturday and flooded her Instagram story with snaps and videos from the party at her mum Letitia's home, as she celebrated with her family and Liam.

The reality star, who is hosting MTV show Lockdown Laughs with Charlotte Crosby amid the pandemic, recently described her perfect man as she confirmed she's no longer single.

As she answered questions from her fans on Instagram, Charlotte confirmed she's coupled up and that her next holiday will be to Bali, hopefully with "a certain someone" by her side.

When asked to describe her perfect man, Charlotte confessed: "Well obviously tall, dark and handsome is always a great place to start. But I would say, maturity and tanned."

Last month, Charlotte said Liam was wooing her like people used to in the olden days.

Liam kept their romance alive while they were separated by sending her gifts and flowers.

She told us: "I am seeing someone at the moment, it’s early days so being forcibly isolated from him isn't exactly ideal… but you know what they say absence makes the heart grow fonder, or whatever the saying is.

"He’s been sending me little gifts through the post which is super sweet. It’s like going back to the old days where guys would have to woo a girl in more creative ways."
