Charlotte Crosby hits back at accusations she broke lockdown for her 30th birthday celebrations

A rep for Charlotte Crosby has denied accusations that the former Geordie Shore star broke lockdown rules to celebrate her 30th birthday at the weekend.

Charlotte reached the milestone age on Sunday and gave her millions of social media followers an insight into how she marked the occasion.

The Sunderland lass was also pictured with her parents Letitia and Gary in a snap that Gary uploaded to his Instagram account over the weeend and it was that photo that sparked fresh accusations that the Celebrity Big Brother winner had flouted lockdown by coming back home to see her mam's house, weeks after she faced claims she'd breached Government regulations by moving in with rumoured new boyfriend Liam Beaumont.

But a source speaking on behalf of Charlotte told The Mirror: "Charlotte has been really careful and acted within the parameters of the rules surrounding lockdown at all times."

Earlier this month, The Sun reported that the now 30-year-old, who first shot to fame in 2011 as an original Geordie Shore cast member, had come under fire for travelling down the country from Wearside live with photographer and videographer Liam, who she partied with in Dubai in February.

The Government rules on lockdown said that people shouldn't move between houses, with many couples and family members being separated for two months now.

But once again, Charlotte's reps have denied she' done anything wrong.

Charlotte's former Geordie Shore co-stars were among the many people who wished her happy birthday. Holly Hagan joked: "As if you’re 30 remember when we thought 30 year olds were adults LOL," and Sophie Kasaei, who is also now 30, commenting: "Happy 30th my little angel."
