Charlotte Crosby dreading Geordie Shore new series after rows during filming and 'false narrative'

Charlotte Crosby has admitted to fans that she is 'dreading' the new series of Geordie Shore being shown on TV, after heated rows between her and some of her co-stars during filming,. with the original cast member also accusing producers of pushing a 'false narrative' on her.

Charlotte was one of the first people to ever set foot in the Geordie Shore house, back when it made a rather controversial debut on MTV in the summer of 2011, joining the likes of Vicky Pattison, Gaz Beadle and Holly Hagan in the first series of the MTV show, which is still on TV 12 years on.

The Sunderland born star and now mum of one, left the show in dramatic circumstances in 2016, but then returned six years later to play a key role in the Geordie Shore reunion, helping to bring back former cast members for a massive party at the Boiler Shop in Newcastle, before cameras followed many of them ion a group holiday to Portugal.

The cast have been back overseas this summer, filming in Cyprus for the new series and it was while on holiday, together with boyfriend Jake and their baby girl Alba Jean, that a row erupted between Charlotte and some of the show's other big name stars. There were reports of a clash between Charlotte and Marnie Simpson and, in a candid Q&A session with fans on Instagram, Charlotte admitted that she wasn't happy with how things went down abroad, so much so she's not sure if she'll even watch the new episodes.

Addressing the rumours picked up on by fans, Charlotte responded: "here's lots of these questions. I don't know really about fallouts, I would go as far to say there were a bunch of misunderstandings, One very silly argument that escalated. But a lot of confusion I think overall. At this age you don't fall out with people intentionally you kinda just have stuff going on and through those times friendships are tested,"

Opening up about how much the spats during filming have affected her and hinting she won't go back to Geordie Shore, Charlotte added: "But I really dread watching the series I'm not sure I will. I have felt a couple of times when filming there has been a false narrative pushed on me something I've never experienced when filming Gshore. Which makes me realise it's not the show for me anymore."
