Charlotte Crosby has hailed the government’s coronavirus chief medical advisor Chris Whitty as the unlikely matchmaker of her current romance with Liam Beaumont.
The 30-year-old former Geordie Shore star says 54-year-old medical expert Chris helped her take the plunge with videographer Liam.
Chaz and Liam were at the beginning of a romance when the coronavirus outbreak forced the UK into lockdown.
And the reality star says it was the advice of Chief Medical Officer Chris that made her decide to go all in on her romance with Liam.
She explained to The Sun on Sunday: “We had to either move in together or not see each other.
“It was hearing the Chief Medical Officer Chris Whitty, who advised that if you want to see your boyfriend or girlfriend you have to move in — so you could say Chris made us take the leap of faith.
“Before then we’d only spent about two or three weeks together in total, so we had to make that decision right then and there, which was really scary.”
It sounds like moving straight to cohabiting has worked wonders for the couple.
Charlotte said: “Fingers crossed, we haven’t had one single argument yet. It’s been amazing.”
The reality star and her hunky 30-year-old boyfriend were spotted out and about for the first time earlier this month.
The pair were spotted getting hot and soapy together when they teamed up to wash one of their cars together outside their house.
The couple looked well matched – as they appeared outside while dressed in matching black outfits.
Charlotte has been unlucky in love in the past – having seen her failed romance with Gary Beadle being a main focus of Geordie Shore.
While her turbulent romance with Stephen Bear made headlines for all the wrong reasons as they repeatedly split and reunited before ending things for good in 2017.
