Charlotte Crosby has branded ex Love Island contestants 'one trick ponies' while admitting she's jealous of some of the TV jobs they land.
And it stems from the fact that the former Geordie Shore star is desperate to be on Dancing on Ice, a show that a number of Love Island stars have competed on.
Charlotte, who won Celebrity Big Brother during her time on Geordie Shore and competed on the Australian version of I'm A Celebrity last year after being knocked back for the UK series, told The Sun: "I’m sick of the Love islanders taking all the jobs.
“Oh, it does (get competitive). But with Love Island we know it's a one trick pony.
“A lot of them get a lot of work afterwards, but then they're forgotten about very quickly, because they roll the shows out so fast and then there's a whole new bunch of cast that everyone's bothered about.”
Sunderland born star Charlotte confesses that there is some jealousy on her part on seeing "these people come in and they get so much," when she's been trying to build a TV career for 10 years now, having shot to fame on the first series of Geordie Shore back in 2011.
Moving onto Dancing on Ice, Charlotte said she makes it clear every year that she wants to be on the programme and would love to learn how to skate but "nothing ever happens."
Love Island alumni to take to the rink of the popular ITV show so far include Kem Cetinay, Wes Nelson and Maura Higgins.
