Charlotte Crosby and mam Letitia involved in scary taxi ordeal on Mother's Day

There was a rather unsavoury end to a brilliant day for Charlotte Crosby and her mam on Sunday when they were subject to an unexpected and rather scary taxi ordeal.

Charlotte and Letitia had been enjoying a Mother's Day party at Newcastle haunts Bonbar and 467 Club, where they were joined by a number of Charlotte's friends and their mums, including Geordie Shore star Sophie Kasaei and her mam.

The ladies were seen enjoying cocktails, a Sunday roast and the company of a few topless butlers during a fun-filled afternoon.

But Charlotte and Letitia's celebrations were marred by what happened when they got their taxi home. As they got in their taxi, Charlotte says four strangers tried to get in and, getting angry at not being allowed in,took the Mother's Day balloons from the car and stamped all over them.

"There were girls and men trying to get in the cab. God knows what they would have done if they'd got in as they were screaming a lot of abuse.
