Charlotte Church is showcasing how beautiful Wales is once again by showing her 19,000 Instagram followers the stunning coast at Barry Island.
Last week she was enjoying the outdoors in her beautiful garden with her baby daughter, and this week she was wetsuited-up to go for an early-morning dip at Whitmore Bay in the popular seaside resort.
The sun was shining on the freshly-raked sand and the beach scene was a mile-away from the sunny weekend scenes of hundreds of sunbathers usually at the spot (when the weather's nice, at least.)
Confessing she was new to sea swimming, the 35-year-old singer wrote on her account : "Early morning wild swimming. I'm a newbie, and I'm all over it!!!"
She also shared a boomerang video of herself sipping a post-swim hot drink while on the beach, writing: “Early morning swimming can soothe many ills.”
Recently Charlotte has been treating fans to glimpses into her life on Instagram, showing them inside her home, which includes a secret bookcase entrance to her cosily stylish living room.
And last week fans had a peek at her garden as she watered plants while her 10-month-old, who she shares with husband Jonathan Powell, looked on. The couple still haven't revealed the baby's name, yet, and Charlotte first introduced her to the public on the podcast, Sink the Pink, in March.
It was recently revealed that Charlotte was hoping to buy the former home of Laura Ashley in the Elan Valley and turn it into a community where people can " reconnect with themselves and the natural world."
