Charlotte Church has been reflecting on her 2017 miscarriage.
The singer, 35, sadly suffered pregnancy loss four years ago - just three weeks after she and husband Jonathan Powell announced the star was expecting her third child, a daughter.
Looking back on the heartbreaking experience, Charlotte has recalled the "so very hard" time but also admitted she found "something beautiful" to take from the tragic incident.
Speaking to Stella magazine, the Voice of an Angel singer said: "It was such a difficult time."
"You experience birth and death in one moment, which is so very hard, but it's your child and there's also something beautiful in that."

Charlotte - who is mother to three children - then went on to discuss how she and Johnny processed their loss and grieved.
"I just felt this pull. I went cold-water swimming three times a week and a month or so after we lost her, Jonny and I spent two weeks climbing the Dolomites," she told the publication.
Charlotte had publicly announced her third pregnancy prior to her heartbreaking loss - debuting a baby bump during an appearance at Birmingham Pride in May 2017.

The following month, the former child star sadly shared the news on Twitter that she had miscarried.
"Charlotte and Jonny are very sad to announce that they lost their baby. Now is a time for grieving and being together as a family," a representative wrote on the star's behalf in June 2017.
"We kindly ask everyone to respect that peace."
The couple tied the knot later that year in October 2017 - a month before it was believed their unborn daughter's would have been due.

Charlotte and Jonny have since gone on to welcome their first child together into the world, with the singer giving birth to baby girl Frida in 2020.
The Pie Jesu singer also shares two children - daughter Ruby, 12 and son Dexter, 11 - with her former fiancé, Welsh rugby player Gavin Henson.
Speaking on Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe's Parenting Hell podcast in October this year, Charlotte revealed she had planned to give birth to Frida outdoors before Mother Nature scuppered her plans.
"I had become a nature lover, tree hugger, quite deep hippy in the interim of having my first two and little baby Frida, and so I set this birth palace outside basically among the trees," she recalled when discussing her plans for her third delivery.

"I dried flowers — it was so involved. It looked like a Baz Luhrmann set. I had candles everywhere."
"I labored under there overnight, which was beautiful, but then I had her screaming on the bathroom floor," she continued.
"Mother Nature came and went, 'Sit down, silly lady.' "
She admitted that she had to head indoors due to "drizzling" rain and noise.
"I live next to a golf course, and I could really hear the golfers," Charlotte remembered on the parenting podcast.
"As my noise started to up, I thought, 'This is not going to work'."
