Charlotte Church's renovated mansion had a lucky escape after a falling tree narrowly missed it when it was uprooted during a storm.
When Storm Arwen battered Wales at the end of November 2021, howling winds swept through the Powys estate and claimed the number of trees on the site that Charlotte described as "colossal".
The most worrying tree fall was a huge fir tree that blew over right in front of the house but luckily not hitting it, if the gust had been in a different direction project manager Ceri thinks it would have hit the right wing of the mansion.

The action was caught in the final episode of Charlotte Church's Dream Build on the Really Channel, also available to stream on Discovery+.
The eight part series charts the progress of the renovation of iconic designer Laura Ashley's former Powys home Rhydoldog House over a nine-month period.
Charlotte bought Rhydoldog for £1.5m as a renovation project, and has been sinking her life savings into transforming the property and land.
The 35-year-old Welsh singer-songwriter has been working hard to realise her dream of changing the mansion from a dwelling into a health and wellbeing nature retreat.
After the storm, Charlotte arrived on site to survey the damage and although shocked, she remained positive and could see uses for the trees that came down, such as part of a dining table.

She was also obviously very relieved no-one was hurt.
She said: "Now with everybody's safety on site being my responsibility, I'm incredibly concerned to hear that where trees have fallen on the lawns used to be where volunteers slept in tents."
Volunteer Ben's tent was just a tangled mess on the lawn, but he had already left the estate the day before the storm was due to hit.

He said he felt lucky, that he still had "eight lives left" but all his stuff was in the tent - his TV was definitely a casualty of Storm Arwen but he was just happy to be in one piece.
Charlotte said: "Wow, that was a close call and it's amazing that no-one was hurt by the storm.
"There is definitely something symbolic about all of these trees coming down and what's happening here and things have been quite tumultuous, somebody is trying to tell me something, I've just got to be quiet and still enough, for long enough, to hear what it is."
