Charlotte Church launches comeback gig at Pontins Bingo weekend

Singer Charlotte Church is making a comeback with her first show in two years at a Pontins Bingo Weekend.

The 35-year-old has returned by those close to her say that the show at Pontins isn't what she really wanted.

"Getting Charlotte on board is a coup for Pontins but a bit of a low point in her career," a source said.

“She has sold millions of records and used to sell out concerts."

The source continued to The Sun : "Playing to a load of bingo lovers and bluecoats in North Wales is a nosedive compared with the days she charmed the Royal Albert Hall."

Mirror have contacted Charlotte's reps for comment.

Her last show was a headline act at the Yes is More Welsh independence concert in February 2019.

Her supposed return comes after the star welcomed her baby daughter a few months ago.

The singer went public with her pregnancy last year, telling fans she was expecting a baby with her husband Jonathan Powell, who she married in 2017.

Charlotte kept her lips sealed about the birth until Holly Willoughby accidentally let it slip on This Morning on March 10.

During an episode of the Sink The Pink Pop Tarts podcast, Charlotte held her daughter up to the camera and gave her a kiss and cuddle.

Charlotte said: "I would love to introduce you to my little baby. Covid realness honey."

The star's daughter is her third child. She's also mum to Ruby, 12, and Dexter, 11, with who she shares with her ex Gavin Henson.

The singer told her fans about her pregnancy back in March 2020 in a tweet to a user at the start of the coronavirus outbreak.
