Charlie Ward will fight Justin Moore at Bellator London in his next fight, Mirror Sport can exclusively reveal.
The SBG Ireland middleweight last fought in February this year, defeating Jamie Stephenson at Bellator 217 in Dublin with a brutal left hook inside the first minute.
And he now faces a step-up in opponent at London's SSE Arena Wembley when he takes on 7-3 Englishman Moore.
The 34-year-old Dorset native returns to the cage for the first time since October of last year and will be aiming to entertain in front of a home crowd.
Meanwhile, fellow SBG Ireland fighter and fan favourite Peter Queally has been forced to pull out of his planned fight with Terry Brazier.
He will be replaced by Time Wilde as Brazier looks to return to winning ways after a disappointing loss at Bellator Newcastle on February 9th to Chris Bungard, who fights Charlie Leary in the prelims.
The card has a whole host of Irish interest, with James Gallagher competing against Jeremiah Labiano, Richard Kiely taking on Ward's former foe Galore Bofando, John 'Johnny Jitzu' Redmond returning to the cage against George Tokkos and now Ward vs Moore.
