NEW YORK _ Three women who previously worked with Charlie Rose sued the disgraced journalist for sexual harassment, claiming the shamed TV news icon inappropriately touched them, bragged about his sexual encounters and urged them to open up about their own.
Katherine Brooks Harris, Sydney McNeal and Yuqing (Chelsea) Wei claim the former "CBS This Morning" anchor subjected them to uncomfortable treatment _ including touching theirs backs, waists, shoulders and arms and even kissing their cheeks _ while they worked with him at CBS, TMZ reported.
The lawsuit also accuses Rose of using intimidating and insulting language, with Wei claiming the journalist, 76, called her his "China doll" and Harris citing an incident where he allegedly said to her, "I didn't know that I hired a f_ kindergartner."
McNeal, who served as Rose's assistant, and Harris both alleged Rose had suggested the women become lovers with each other. McNeal and Harris also accused Rose of saying they got their jobs due to his affinity for tall women.
In addition to sexual harassment, the three women are reportedly suing Rose for retaliation and discrimination.
Rose was fired by CBS and PBS in November after eight women accused him of inappropriate sexual behavior in a report by the Washington Post.
