Arsenal hero Charlie Nicholas has identified the clubs that he believes Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could sign for if he leaves Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
The Gunners' captain is set to enter the final 12 months of his contract at the Emirates Stadium and has reportedly attracted the interest of Barcelona and Inter Milan, among others.
Manchester United have also recently been linked with a swoop for Aubameyang, which would see him follow in the footsteps of the likes of Robin van Persie and Alexis Sanchez.
However, Nicholas believes that if he was to remain in the Premier League, it would be the other side of Manchester that he could move to.
"I don't see Liverpool or Man City signing him. Would he get into Liverpool's side? No. Manchester City could be an option if they were looking to replace Sergio Aguero," he told Sky Sports.
"Would Aubameyang say that he has done Germany and England? Could it be time to move to Spain? He is a similar age to Thierry Henry when he went to Barcelona to play with Lionel Messi and Xavi, before winning titles and Champions Leagues.
"I could see him moving to the Nou Camp, but Real Madrid could also be an option."
Aubameyang has previously admitted his desire to play for Real Madrid, the side who his grandfather supported, and made a promise to him before his passing.
Contract talks between Arsenal and Aubameyang are on hold until the end of the season, with the outcome likely to hinge on what form of European competition, if any, Mikel Arteta's side are involved in.
