Charlie Nicholas doesn’t believe Arsenal star Alexandre Lacazette is appreciated enough by Unai Emery.
The forward, who is currently sidelined with an ankle injury, has scored 38 goals in 91 appearances for the Gunners, as well as forming a solid partnership with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
But after only playing 147 minutes this season, Nicholas believes the Frenchman isn't getting the recognition he deserves from the Spaniard, who himself has came in for criticism due to his recent team selections.
"My favourite is Alexandre Lacazette," the former Gunners forward told Sky Sports.
“I always find a way to get him in the team - the reason I cannot this time is because of Roberto Firmino.
“Lacazette is loved by his team-mates but not always appreciated by his manager.”
The former Lyon star is set to return to action in October.
