Charlie Adam opens door for Hearts and Manchester United name Paul Pogba price - transfer latest

Charlie Adam has opened the door to Hearts and other Premiership clubs as he prepares to leave Stoke City after seven years.

The 33-year-old midfielder says he is "open to all offers" as he weighs up his next move just months after being heavily linked with a move to Tynecastle.

Former Rangers playmaker Adam will be freed by the Championship club along with Darren Fletcher at the end of the season.

A year ago he was linked with a return to Ibrox and in January Hearts were weighing up a move for the 26-times capped Scotland international. And Adam has revealed he has already spoken to a few clubs about a potential move.

He said: "This is the first time in my 18-year career I've been out of contract, it's a situation I'm not used to.

"We'll see what comes around, I still feel I have a lot to give someone.

"Let's see where that takes me. I'm open to all offers.

"I'm raring to go and see what options are out there for next season. It was only announced this week but I have already had two or three clubs on.

"I'll play anywhere. I want to play football."

Meanwhile, Manchester United have reportedly placed a £160million price tag on midfielder Paul Pogba as the World Cup winner's future remains up in the air.

Pogba is on Real Madrid's wish list this summer, with Zinedine Zidane opening courting his compatriot since returning to the Bernebeu dugout.

The midfielder earns £290,00-a-week at Old Trafford and has appeared to have been wooed by Real having previously admitted it would be a "dream" to move to the Spanish capital.

Now, according to the  Daily Mail,  United are only interested in offers in excess of £160m - which would mean doubling their profits on the man they spent £89m on.

Hamilton Accies are preparing for a summer clear out, whether they avoid the drop or not.

Brian Rice is set to clear the decks, according to the Sun, with experienced campaigners including Matt Kilgallon, Delphin Tshiembe, James Keatings, Steve Davies, Tom Taiwo and Alex Penny set to leave.

Accies are planning to focus on their successful youth system with Dougie Imrie retiring to take charge of the club's Under 18 side.
