Charley Webb and Matthew Wolfenden recently welcomed their third child.
And the real-life Emmerdale star couple revealed they had named their newborn Ace Gene as they lifted the lid on the difficult details of his birth.
Mum-of-three Charley, 31, documented the terrifying moment when Ace wasn't able to breathe because the umbilical cord became tangled around his neck.
She told OK! magazine : "The umbilical cord was wrapped around Ace’s neck when he was born. It came off and he was passed to me but I could tell something was wrong.
"Ace wasn’t breathing at first – so the midwife had to press the panic button."
Matthew admitted it felt like a "lifetime" when Ace couldn't breathe, although he said help arrived as soon as the panic button was pressed.
He added: "By the time someone had come through the door from the panic button being pressed, Ace was breathing again, so it couldn't have been long. Although it felt like a lifetime."
As well as a tough birth, Charley had battled with a debilitating pelvic condition when she was pregnant with her third child.
She had been suffering with morning sickness as well as SPD known as symphysis pubis dysfunction.
In recent weeks, they became a family of five on July 29 when Charley brought Ace into the world.
The happy pair also raise their sons Buster, nine, and Bowie, three, at their lovenest.
The Charley and Matthew love story started when they first crossed paths while starring on Emmerdale together.
Charley took on the role of Debbie Dingle and Matthew portrayed David Metcalfe.
Their love has gone from strength to strength since they were married in a secret romantic ceremony last year.
