Charley Hull fires back at critics after brutal prank on golf caddie

  • Charley Hull has refused to apologise after being criticised for playing a brutal prank on her caddie ahead of the Women’s Open.
  • Hull is currently in action at Royal Lytham & St Annes, but before the tournament got underway she revealed that she bought a scratchcard from a Blackpool joke shop and then fooled her caddie Adam Woodward into believing he had won £100,000.
  • Hull captured the moment Woodward believed he’d won on camera as he celebrated wildly, before later coming clean that it was a fake scratchcard.
  • Hull has been criticised by some fans online, and golf legend Dame Laura Davies branded the prank “extremely cruel” while on commentary on Thursday.
  • But Hull, who has previously been outspoken in her praise for US president Donald Trump, hit back at her critics as she told them to “loosen up” and insisted she would “100%” pull the same prank again.
