Charleston DL John Cominsky had official visit with Rams

The majority of the Los Angeles Rams’ official pre-draft visitors have come at a handful of positions: safety, offensive line and edge rusher. Of course, they’ve also met with players at other spots, but that’s where most of their focus has turned to.

John Cominsky from the University of Charleston in West Virginia is among the draft prospects the Rams have met with, adding to the growing list of pre-draft visitors. According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, the Rams are one of the teams very interested in Cominsky.

Cominsky is one of the draft’s sleeper prospects but could turn into a productive player in the NFL. For the Rams, he’d likely line up at defensive end, but he could also stand up and rush the passer – similar to the versatility that John Franklin-Myers brings.

As Garafolo notes, he’s expected to go late on Day 2 or early on Day 3, which puts him in the Round 3-4 range. The Rams have two third-rounders, so he could be available when they go on the clock at No. 94 and 99.
