Charles Manson 'fanatic' tattoos dead cult leader's ashes onto his forehead

A Charles Manson 'fanatic' has reportedly had the cult leader's ashes tattooed into an 'X' across his forehead.

Patrick Boos was said to have paid $600 (£430) for two tattoos, one on his forehead matching Manson's, and 'Helter Skelter' to be inked above his eye.

The 45-year-old said the killer was a 'prophet' saying it was a 'once-in-a-lifetime opportunity' which he couldn't pass up.

He was said to have paid tattoo artist Ryan Almighty to do the work, after getting some of Manson's ashes from a former friend of the notorious mass murderer's grandson.

Boos, married and from New York, told Vice : "It's weird that Charles is a part of me now.'

He said: "The tattoo was a once in a lifetime opportunity to me. A piece of history.

Patrick has described Mason as a 'prophet' (Facebook)

"I think people are fascinated by how the typical serial killer’s mind works, or why they did it.

"We really don’t know if Charles Manson did anything other than being a cult leader – he may have sent others to kill, but he claims he had nothing to do with it. It’s weird that Charles is a part of me now. Kinda creepy, I guess."

Asked if he wanted to be like Manson he said he didn't and was 'a nobody' who would rather be home at home with his family instead of around people.

He added that he just liked 'weird and bizarre things.'

Manson died at the age of 83 in 2017 while behind bars after being convicted of seven murders.

He was at Corcoran State Prison, and was known for starting the cult referred to as the Manson family in 1967.

Manson received nine life sentences for seven murders.

Some of his other followers including Susan Atkins, Leslie Van Houten, Charles 'Tex' Watson and Patricia Krenwinkle were also convicted.
