The one bad thing about the NBA Finals every year is that it means we don’t get to see the NBA on TNT crew at all, as their season ends in the conference finals.
But thankfully we still get Charles Barkley, who’s on NBA TV’s coverage of the Finals. Though I still wish Ernie Johnson, Shaquille O’Neal, and Kenny Smith were with him.
But whatever. We must move on. Barkley is in Toronto for tonight’s Game 1 between the Warriors and Raptors and during the pregame show he said he doesn’t think Kevin Durant will play in the Finals, even if the Warriors have sounded optimistic about his possible return from his calf injury.
This was classic Barkley, saying the team was “lying” about how KD is actually doing:
