Charles Barkley has resorted to begging LeBron to join ‘Inside the NBA’ during the playoffs (UPDATED)

LeBron James has nothing to do during the playoffs except count the days until the summer, when he can help recruit some stars to the Los Angeles Lakers.

So Charles Barkley wants him to come on Inside the NBA and talk NBA playoffs. And he wants it bad.

UPDATE: LeBron James responded on Twitter and said he “may take (Barkley) up” on the offer!

Last month, Barkley went on the air and pitched James on coming on to the set. They’d even put him up “at a good hotel” and get him a “first-class ticket” to appear.

On Sunday, he resorted to begging and said it was his last time asking LeBron before he’d move on. Barkley and Co. said they’d get the Game of Thrones throne for him:

“I said this before America, and this is the last time: LeBron James, come into the studio. You ain’t got nothing to do. I know you’ve got to pick a head coach and a general manager. …

“How about this? You could leave at halftime of the second game.”

Ernie Johnson said “no” to that request, but Barkley powered through it. Can we beg for it to happen too?

Here’s Barkley’s original request video:
