Charity shops in Scotland are expecting to be flooded with donations as they slowly start to reopen in Scotland following months of closure.
If you've had a much-needed lockdown clear out in amongst baking banana bread and redecorating your house, you will have to follow new strict rules when donating your unwanted items to charity shops to stop the spread of coronavirus.
Oxfam has already urged shoppers not to dump donations bags outside closed stores as it prepares to reopen in Scotland next week.
Stores are being told to isolate donated items for up to 48 hours before they are sorted during the outbreak.
The charity will be implementing strict protocol, including social distancing, hand sanitiser, masks and gloves for staff, screens at tills, regular and frequent cleaning closed changing rooms and contactless payments.
Non-essential retailers, such as clothing stores, were permitted to welcome back customers on June 29, but not all charity shops have chosen to reopen straight away.
