A south Manchester charity shop was hit by idiotic vandals - who set off a fire extinguisher through the front door.
The Cancer Research shop on Wilmslow Road in Didsbury village was targeted in the early hours of Saturday (October 16).
A post shared on the Facebook group Didsbury M20 by a member of staff said the incident meant the shop couldn't open on that day.

A fire extinguisher is understood to have been stolen from the Shell petrol station over the road before being let off through the keyhole, filling the shop with dust.
Stock had to be thrown away.
Police were called by boss Dawn Farrimond-Maddock. She said around £1,000 was lost.

She posted: "Sadly the Didsbury shop was vandalised in the early hours of Saturday morning.
"We couldn’t open the shop for business on Saturday while we cleared up and have sadly had to throw away some stock which was badly damaged.
"Saturday is one of our busiest days for business and we have lost more than £1,000 through not being able to open and having to throw stock away.
"We are also now looking at the possibility of having shutters installed, which will be a further cost."
Staff had to carry out a 'massive' clean-up.
People offered to help tidy, but Dawn instead asked people to help with the re-stocking effort.
She added: "Cancer Research UK relies entirely on the generosity of our supporters.
"So we would be very grateful for anyone in the area to help us replenish stock by bringing unwanted clothes and bric-a-brac."
The Manchester Evening News contacted Greater Manchester Police for comment, but the force declined.
