Charity rave for The Prodigy's Keith Flint comes to Leeds this Saturday

Mint Warehouse will host a charity rave on Saturday night in memory of The Prodigy's Keith Flint.

The 49-year-old was found dead at his home on March 4 and bandmate Liam Howlett said he had 'taken his own life.'

Now, an event at Mint Warehouse will aim to raise money for mental health charities Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) and Mind, in the hope that similar incidents won't happen again.

DJs will play records by The Prodigy in addition to music by those who inspired the group.

The fundraiser was initially planned as a one-off at The Cause in London, yet the popularity led to other events being organised in Manchester, Sheffield, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Southend.

Every penny of the ticket sales will go to charity, with 50 per cent going to CALM, and 50 per cent to Mind.

The Prodigy are one of the most successful electronic acts in British history, having found success with hits such as Breathe, Firestarter and Invaders Must Die.

The band played a huge set at Leeds Festival in 2009.

How to get tickets?

The event takes place on Saturday between 10pm and 6am.

Tickets for the event are available on Resident Advisor and can be found here.
