A charity has been forced to operate on a "reduced service" after burglars broke in to a hub over the weekend.
Concerns were raised that struggling families would be without help on Tuesday morning after staff discovered vital equipment was missing from the Citizens Advice telephone centre in Belle Vale. It is believed there was a "break-in" over the weekend.
As a result, the charity confirmed that they were operating on a reduced service. Citizens Advice Liverpool said on Twitter: "We are really upset to say that our telephone advice hub has been broken into over the weekend and all of our equipment has been stolen. Please bear with us as we operate a reduced service."

Merseyside Police confirmed they received reports today following a burglary that is believed to have occurred at some point over the weekend. The telephone centre is based on Childwall Valley Road in Belle Vale.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "Officers are investigating after a burglary in Belle Vale last weekend. On Tuesday 20 September, a call was received reporting entry having been gained at some time over the weekend to Belle Vale Citizens Advice Bureau on Childwall Valley Road.
"Damage was caused and items stolen, believed to include electrical items. Enquiries are ongoing. If you have information or witnessed/captured anything suspicious over the weekend, contact @MerPolCC or Crimestoppers UK on 0800 555 111 with reference 22000699930."
