Family and friends of tragic Dumbarton man Justin Conroy have presented Dumbarton District MS Group with a cheque for more than £2000 raised in his memory.
Organised by 24-year-old Justin’s friend and ex- Renton Craigandro teammate Greg Baxter, a charity match played this summer raised £2600, with the money presented to the MS support group at the Dumbuck Hotel earlier this month.
Justin’s dad Pat said: “We’d like to say a big thank you to the Dumbarton District MS group for their hospitality and a huge thank you to the main organiser, Greg who made everything possible for Justin’s memorial match and not forgetting Justin’s team mates from Craigandro and Dumbarton Strathclyde.”
Sheena Rollo Dumbarton District MS group coordinator added: “It is wonderful the way Justin’s memory is being remembered. His family are very proud of Greg Baxter who made the memorial match possible.”
