Geno Atkins is the big name for the Cincinnati Bengals on the injury report before the team’s Week 1 showdown with the Los Angeles Chargers.
While A.J. Green, Mike Daniels and others got back to work Thursday after missing Wednesday, Atkins missed Thursday and did limited work on the rehab field before the team ruled him out.
These are the Bengals out for the game against the Chargers:

- Shawn Williams
LeShaun Sims at cornerback was also ruled doubtful.
The Chargers are expected to be without center Mike Pouncey, though we’ll update when their injury report goes official.
As for Joe Burrow’s supporting cast of weapons, A.J. Green figures to be on a pitch count as the coaches play it safe after he aggravated a hamstring in training camp. That said, he recently got in some extra work with Burrow on the team’s off day and says he’s 100 percent.
