Chargers’ snap counts from victory over Dolphins

The Chargers finally snapped their losing streak to the Dolphins in games played in Miami, which dated back to 1981, coming out victorious by the score of 30-10.

Here’s a look at the offensive snap counts from Sunday:

  • With wide receivers Mike Williams and Travis Benjamin out, Dontrelle Inman stepped up in the 50 snaps that he played. Geremy Davis (27) and Andre Patton (24) contributed, each posting a pair of catches for big gains.
  • Tight ends Sean Culkin (39) and Lance Kendricks (38) were neck and neck, but Kendricks was the more productive out of the two.
  • Forrest Lamp (17) finally made his presence known and although he wasn’t on the field for long, he played a key role on one of the touchdown drives. Lamp even played left tackle in garbage time, which was intriguing to see.
  • Trey Pipkins (6) also made an appearance on the Bolts’ final drive at right tackle.

Here’s a look at the defensive and special teams snap counts on Sunday:

  • Cornerbacks Michael Davis, Casey Hayward and safety Roderic Teamer led the way, playing 100 percent of the defensive snaps. Davis was a little shaky near the beginning of the game, but he picked things up, finishing with an interception and a pass breakup.
  • With the Davis’ return came with no playing time for Brandon Facyson. He only logged five snaps, but those came on special teams.
  • After Melvin Ingram left the game with a hamstring injury, Uchenna Nwosu and Isaac Rochell split time at LEO.
  • Rookies Nasir Adderley and Drue Tranquill finally received some snaps other than on special teams. When Adderley came in, Rayshawn Jenkins served as a dime linebacker, which was nice to see the change.
