The Chargers selected former Cincinnati defensive tackle Cortez Broughton with the No. 242 overall selection of the 2019 NFL draft.
Los Angeles ended their draft with adding another interior defensive lineman to the roster.
After a solid first three seasons, Broughton was a dominate force as a senior with 52 tackles, 7.5 sacks, 18.5 tackles for losses, and two forced fumbles. That production earned him first-team all-AAC.
Broughton started 40 consecutive games for the Bearcats.
