Chargers re-sign WR Geremy Davis

The Chargers have locked up another piece to their team on Tuesday, announcing the re-signing of wide receiver Geremy Davis.

Davis was originally drafted by the Giants in 2015, but was signed by the Bolts in 2016 off New York’s practice squad. Though he hasn’t seen much action on the field as a wideout, Davis has served as a key depth piece.

In 2018, Davis earned the No. 5 spot after proving his worth during preseason and training camp. Davis notched ten special team tackles on the year.

With the departure of wide receiver Tyrell Williams and the possibility of Travis Benjamin getting the boot, Davis will have every opportunity in the world to fight for the No. 3 and 4 spot on the roster heading into the 2019 season.
