Chargers QB Philip Rivers among 11 not playing vs. Seahawks

The Chargers are set to take on the Seahawks in the third preseason matchup of the year. While most teams are using this game as “dress rehearsal” to see their starters for a full half, Los Angeles will not and instead, will sit the majority of their starters.

Per ESPN’s Eric D. Williams, here are the 11 players that are not suited up for tonight’s game:

Quarterback Philip Rivers, wide receiver Keenan Allen, edge rushers Melvin Ingram and Joey Bosa, center Mike Pouncey, linebacker Thomas Davis, defensive tackle Brandon Mebane, linebacker Uchenna Nwosu, cornerback Trevor Williams, and offensive tackles Blake Camper and Brant Weiss.

Rookie free safety Nasir Adderley was seen in uniform and there’s a strong chance that he could make his professional preseason debut tonight.
