Chargers open up as 3-point favorites over Texans in Week 3

The Los Angeles Chargers (1-1) are looking to bounce back in Week 3 against the Houston Texans (1-1).

Coming off the crushing loss to the Detroit Lions (1-0-1), the Chargers open as three-point favorites over the Texans, per BetMGM.

The Bolts had the Lions in the low scoring affair for the majority of the game, but ultimately the penalties, turnovers and missed field goals cost them the contest. They left Ford Field suffering defeat by the score of 13-10.

Meanwhile, the Texans are coming off a low scoring matchup with the Jaguars. In a game where it came down to a two-point conversion, Houston prevailed and saved themselves from an 0-2 start.

The last time the two teams met was in 2016. The game was played in Houston, and the Chargers took care of business by the score of 21-13.

The Bolts and Texans are slated for 1:25 p.m. kickoff at Dignity Health Sports Park on Sunday, Sept. 22.
