Chargers, Lions inactives for Week 2 matchup

The Los Angeles Chargers released their list of inactive players ahead of Sunday’s Week 2 matchup against the Lions.

Kicker Michael Badgley (groin) has officially been ruled out once again. Badgley did not play last weekend, which means that Ty Long will have the kicking and punting duties.

Wide receiver Mike Williams (knee) is active. Williams steadily improved towards the end of the week and he will suit up. It’s likely that he will be on a limited snap count, and primarily used as a red-zone option.

The remaining players that are inactive are tight end Hunter Henry, quarterback Easton Stick, linebacker Jatavis Brown, wide receiver Geremy Davis, defensive tackle Cortez Broughton and safety Roderic Teamer.

As for the Lions, they will be playing without a couple key players.

Offensive tackle Taylor Decker and linebacker Jarrad Davis will not play today, which is a huge break for Los Angeles.

The Chargers and Lions are set to kickoff at 10:00 a.m. PT at Ford Field.
