Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa was arguably the best defensive player on the field against the Titans.
Pro Football Focus recognized the dominant performance that he had on Sunday, and because of it, he was named to their Team of the Week for Week 7.
While his brother was mud-sliding in Washington, Joey Bosa turned in a dominant performance against Tennessee. He recorded three hurries, one quarterback hit and two sacks on the day. He also led all defenders with 20 or more pass-rush snaps in pass-rush win rate (32.1%) and picked up a forced fumble in the contest.
Los Angeles was missing defensive tackles Justin Jones and Brandon Mebane, so they needed an extra spark up front and Bosa delivered in a big way by being a force at rushing the passer and defending the run.
Bosa finished with six tackles, two tackles for loss and a sack, along with a handful of quarterback pressures.
