The Chargers concluded their second practice of the week ahead of Sunday’s battle against the Bears.
Here is a look at today’s injury report:
Safety Nasir Adderley, defensive tackles Cortez Broughton, Justin Jones and Brandon Mebane were all listed as non-participants yesterday, and they did not practice today.
Broughton was out with an illness and we thought he was going to return today, but it appears it lingered on. Jones and Mebane’s injury are worrisome and there’s a possibility Los Angeles could be without them for the second consecutive week.
Fullback Derek Watt was limited yesterday, but he did not practice today as he’s dealing with a knee issue.
Linebacker Thomas Davis was given a veteran’s day off. Meanwhile wide receiver Keenan Allen is a new addition to the report with a hamstring issue. Losing Allen this weekend would be huge for a team that’s already thin at the position.
