Chargers HC Anthony Lynn traveling abroad to build a school

The Chargers just finished their last day of mandatory minicamp. With that, it concludes all spring practices, which means that the team won’t be touching the football field until training camp starts on July 25.

Many players and coaches will be using that time to spend with their family and friends before their life is devoted to the upcoming season for the next few months. For coach Anthony Lynn, he is going to be using that time to give back.

Lynn will be building a school. This isn’t just an ordinary school in the United States, though. He will be flying to the country of Tanzania to contribute to it, according to NFL Media’s Andrew Siciliano.

In only two seasons, Lynn has directed an inspiring turnaround, producing consecutive winning records and the franchise’s first playoff berth in five seasons. For his efforts, Lynn finished runner-up for the 2018 NFL Coach of the Year.

But not only has he connected the football team with one another, but he has done the same thing with the fans and the community, which has went a long way in that short period of time.

Lynn looks to get his team a Super Bowl birth for the first time since 1994 but also, help win more fans over before the Bolts move into their new stadium with the Rams in 2020.
