Chargers CB Michael Davis (hamstring) expected to miss some time

Chargers cornerback Michael Davis is expected to miss some time after a hamstring injury sustained in Sunday’s victory over the Colts, coach Anthony Lynn said.

The injury came early in the first quarter. Davis only played five snaps before being pulled from the contest and was then replaced by CB Brandon Facyson.

When Facyson entered the game, it didn’t take long for the Colts to exploit his inexperience in the starting role. Quarterback Jacoby Brissett was consistently targeting his area, and he was having a ton of success doing so.

With Davis’ injury, Los Angeles now has just three healthy cornerbacks on the active roster. Trevor Williams remains out with a quadricep injury.

Lynn said that the team is looking to make a move with both Davis and Williams out, along with knowing that it’s uncertain whether or not Facyson can be depended on in a starting role going forward after Sunday’s outing.
