Host: Chadatip Chutrakul, CEO of Siam Piwat, and Thavorn Ko-udomvit, director of Ardel Gallery of Modern Art.
Highlight: Master artist Thavorn Ko-udomvit delicately imbues portraits of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej with symbolic tree branches, flowers, vines and other things in nature to express gratitude while conveying the Buddhist philosophy of impermanence. He uses candles to portray King Rama IX as a guiding light and golden mountains to evoke the revered monarch's divinity. Chapters from "Ten Virtues Of The King" by National Artist Naowarat Pongpaiboon are on display, with the poetry also depicted on the walls of the exhibition, which runs till Oct 31.
