Chappell Roan: what time is she playing Reading, and what's the setlist?

It’s been a busy summer for Chappell Roan. In the last few months, she’s been hopping around Europe, playing gigs everywhere from Barcelona (for Primavera) to Gothenburg (for Way Out West).

Despite that, she’s not played the UK at all. That’s all about to change, though: on Friday she’ll be headlining Reading Festival alongside Hozier.

It’s been a rapid rise. The last gigs she played in the UK was a run of three nights at the O2 Academy in Brixton, in late 2024. That was booked before she broke through; the gigs themselves were, predictably, impossible to get tickets for.

Her tour, titled Visions of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things, promises spectacle in abundance. Over the course of 90 minutes, the star will be serving up some of her biggest hits, including The Subway, which recently became her first single to debut at No. 1 in the UK.

With Roan set to take to the stage later this week, here’s what to know about her upcoming appearance.

What time will she be on stage?

Reading has already announced the times for its sets next week, which is good news for us – and it looks like Roan will be playing the main stage at the very family friendly time of 7.10pm.

She’ll be preceded by The Kooks, who’ll be playing their set at 5.20pm, and then Hozier will follow with his set happening at 9.40pm.

What’s the set list?

Fortunately for us, Roan’s setlist doesn’t seem to have varied much over the months that she’s been touring, so it’ll likely look something very similar to this:

  • Super Graphic Ultra Modern Girl
  • Femininomenon
  • After Midnight
  • Naked in Manhattan
  • Guilty Pleasure
  • Casual
  • The Subway
  • HOT TO GO!
  • Barracuda
  • Picture You
  • Kaleidoscope
  • The Giver
  • Red Wine Supernova
  • Coffee
  • Good Luck, Babe!
  • My Kink Is Karma
  • Pink Pony Club

Is it still possible to get tickets to Reading?

Sadly, tickets for Friday have sold out (though you can try your luck on Ticketmaster or viagogo), but don’t worry, the BBC will be live-streaming many of the show’s sets live, similar to their Glastonbury coverage. Sit back and enjoy.
