Chaotic scenes as Josh Warrington fans chase Kid Galahad out of weigh-in

Both fighters made weight with ease, yet there were fiery scenes at the weigh-in for Josh Warrington's latest world title defence against Kid Galahad.

In front of a packed crowd at Leeds City Museum, Warrington and Galahad came face-to-face for the final time before Saturday night's (15/06) clash at Leeds First Direct Arena.

Tensions were high and words were exchanged between the two fighters on-stage before some fans appeared to chase Galahad's team from the room.

It looked as though Galahad and some of his team had to hide out in the nearby gift shop, yet staff at the museum soon restored calm.

The 'Leeds Warrior' and Galahad seem highly motivated ahead of a bitter all-Yorkshire bout for the IBF Featherweight world title.

Galahad has used social media to taunt his opponent throughout the build-up, whilst Warrington and dad and coach Sean O'Hagan have mentioned the Sheffield fighter's previous ban for drugs use.

All attention will now turn to the ring as crunch-time fast approaches.

Warrington is hoping to build on legacy-defining wins over Lee Selby and Carl Frampton, whilst Galahad hopes to achieve his dream of becoming a world champion.

Feuds in boxing can sometimes feel somewhat pantomime, yet from the outside looking in, there appears to be no love lost between these two fighters.
