Chaos, elation and drama - The Newcastle United end of season review

The 2020-21 campaign is done and dusted with Newcastle United surviving the drop and finally finishing 12th in the league table.

As usual for Newcastle, it was an eventful campaign on and off the pitch with the takeover saga playing along in the background, and pressure really ramping up on head coach Steve Bruce after an awful run of form.

While there was plenty of frustrations, there was also some joy and elation as fans got to see Joe Willock, Callum Wilson and Allan Saint-Maximin impress - giving hope that next season can go better if Willock returns from Arsenal and the other two stay fit.

To go back over the season, our football editor Mark Douglas and veteran Chronicle Live journalist John Gibson took part in an end of season review.

The pair - in separate episodes - talked about the key moments, the fight for safety, Steve Bruce, eventual safety and much more.

They also picked players for some end of season awards.
