Chaos at children’s event as aggressive gulls attack 16 times

  • An Easter egg hunt in Inverness, Scotland, was marred by 16 reported incidents of aggressive gulls swooping at and striking children and members of the public.

  • The issue of aggressive urban gulls is a wider concern in Scotland, with previous calls for a nationwide summit and £100,000 in government funding allocated in 2025 to tackle disruptive populations.
