Chaos as Santander app and online banking crash locks customers out of accounts

Santander's app and online banking service is out of action for many users, with some customers unable to access their accounts.

Customers started reporting the issue at around 5.30am today, November 22, which is still ongoing, according to the website Down Detector, which monitors IT outages.

However, card payments seem to be working as normal, the Mirror Online reports.
