Channing Tatum's ex-wife Jenna Dewan gives birth to a baby boy and reveals his Scottish name

Jenna Dewan has announced the name of her newborn son in cute Instagram snap, as she becomes a mum for the second time.

The American actress who is best known for playing Nora in the film Step Up, revealed that she and her fiancé Steve welcomed their son only a few days ago.

Jenna posted a picture which was taken just moments after the birth, of her and baby Callum.

She posted: "And just like that, our hearts exploded into all of eternity and beyond,Welcome to the world you little angel! ️Callum Michael Rebel Kazee 3/6/20."

According to website NameBerry.com, the name Callum is a boy's name of Scottish origin meaning "dove".

They said: "Callum was derived from Latin Columba, a unisex given name meaning “dove.”

"Callum was popular among early Christians because the dove was a symbol of purity, peace and the Holy Spirit. St. Columba was one of the most influential of the early Celtic saints."

The 39-year-old brunette is already mum to six-year-old daughter Everly, with ex-husband Channing Tatum .

Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tatum married in 2009 after meeting on the set of film Step Up.

They then split up back in 2018 after almost nine years of marriage.

Allegedly, Jenna then dating fellow actor Steve Kazee in October 2018 and the pair got engaged just last month.

Back in September they announced that they were expecting a baby together.

Despite their split, Jenna and Tatum stressed they are "still a family" and would always be "loving dedicated parents" to their young daughter.

Channing went on to date UK musician Jessie J, with many fans saying she looked exactly like his ex-wife Jenna.

But their romance was short lived, and they split in November 2019, after more than a year together.
