Channel your inner Picasso with this fantastic portrait project from Me + the Moon

Whether you're getting stuck in to the whole home-schooling vibe, or you're just trying to keep the kids from ripping the wallpaper off the walls for an hour, we can all agree that an art project can be just the thing to break up the day.

This week, Me + the Moon have shared a fantastic project inspired by one of the world's most famous artists.

Sheena from Me + the Moon said, "Join us as we learn about some techniques adopted by Pablo Picasso and characteristics of Cubist artists. Have fun with it by creating portraits of your friends or siblings!"

You'll need:

  • Paper or sketchbook (watch this video on how to make a sketchbook)
  • A black marker
  • Some watercolours, poster paints, coloured markers (whatever you have at home)

For more ideas of creative workshops you can practice at home with the family see www.meandthemoon.ie and make sure to tag them @meandthemoonworkshops on Facebook and Instagram
