Channel 5’s Maxine: When’s it on and how many episodes are there?

Channel 5 will air new drama, Maxine, which chronicles the life of Maxine Carr and her role in the Soham murders 20 years ago. The drama sees Jemma Carlton in the titular role and Scott Reid as Ian Huntley.

Maxine Carr and convicted killer Ian Huntley were in a relationship in 2002 - the same time Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman were murdered. Following the girls’ disappearance, a massive search operation was launched and a number of locals made appearances on local and national news broadcasts. Huntley, who was eventually sentenced to a minimum of 40 years in prison for the crime, was one of these locals.
