Raise the Roof Productions posted on social media about the exciting news, letting fans know that they should expect the programme this year. They wrote on Instagram: "Raise the Roof are super excited to announce that we have been filming a new 80 part series for channel 5 called ‘The Holiday Home Show’.

"The series will follow our amazing presenters Amanda Lamb, JB Gill and Sam Pinkham as they travel the UK and Europe searching for their favourite Holiday Homes. So if you like holidays, pretty properties and a bit of friendly competition, tune in later in the year!"

Channel 5 said: "Following the commission of a 40×60’ season of Cash in the Attic last November, the two commissions demonstrate C5’s “commitment to producing original programming in daytime."
